North Jacksonville Booming with Growth

North Jacksonville has hit a growth spurt. Not only has the River City Marketplace added great shoppping & dining to the area, but it will now be bringing an extensive $27.7 million medical office building. According to Jacksonville.com, UF Health Jacksonville has announced they will be opening a 6-story, 210,000 square foot building that will be located on Max Leggett Pkwy. near River City Marketplace. The first two stories will have a UF Health emergency department, operating rooms, imaging services, labs and women's health services. The remaining four floors will be doctors offices reserved for both UF Health and private area doctors. The ground is already being cleared and construction is estimated to take 18-19 months with an opening in 2015.
